Woodford Barometer Thermometer Hygrometer weather station
This Woodford Barometer is of the traditional 'Banjo' shaped design, allows you to measure the temperature as well as the changing air pressure and moisture content. One of the first things you notice when examining it is the quality of the oak surround which is a very beautiful, stained to a mid-tone and varnished to a fine sheen. The surround of a barometer has to be made of a stable material, one that will not expand or contract too much.
This fine seasoned solid oak does this job perfectly and looks extremely handsome, complemented by quality brass bezel and finial. You can monitor the changing air pressure by gently tapping the dial and the needle will move to today's pressure, showing you is it is rising or falling. Instructions supplied to interpret the movement. The change of air pressure generally allows you to predict your local weather 1-2 days before it occurs. I is a very addictive and fascinating hobb and a very useful one. The Woodford Barometer has a full years warranty and a lifetime of support and advice should you ever need it. It comes with the Silver2Love booklet, showing how to set up and use the barometer correctly.
